About Us
Based in Bournemouth The Community Arts & Music Project (TCAMP) is a small charity run by professional volunteers (CRB checked) to give children and young people of all abilities weekly workshops in dance, music, art and drama. For more information on our workshops please read the section titled 'workshops'.
These sessions are free of charge to all children and young people aged
5-16 years of all abilities.
Based at the Townsend Community Centre, Bournemouth, young people attend from across Bournemouth to sing, learn new styles
of dance, make theatrical props and to perform on stage in one of the
many shows and performances we put on using the old Townsend Primary school hall and at various fun days/events across Bournemouth during the year.
As a member of TCAMP your child will have access to our members area where they can login to access various media for example, dance videos performed by our choreographers, allowing the children to refresh themselves of a routine, stream audio for a vocal track, download lyrics and more.
Remember, there is no charge for our weekly workshops, but if you wish to make a donation to our charity you can do so using the 'Paypal' donate button below.
If you would like more information, please contact us via the website or pop along on a Wednesday evening 6 - 7:30pm to the Townsend Community Centre, Jewell Road, Bournemouth BH8 0LT. One of the volunteers will meet you, make you a cup of tea, show your around and explain more about the project. All parents must complete a registration form for their child before starting TCAMP.
