Fundraising
We fund raise in various ways. Every year we attend many of the Family Fun Day events across Bournemouth with our fundraising stall running various side-show games like 'splat the rat', 'ball in bucket', 'paint ball' and 'higher/lower'.
For 2012 we will adding a pitch for racing Scalextric cars, either race your mum, dad or friend or win a cash prize for the fastest lap time of the day. Guaranteed fun for all the family. See our article in the Bournemouth Echo 14 February 2012.
Past fun day events have included Bournemouth Festival at Meyrick Park, Muscliff Fun Day, Townsend Family Fun Day and West Howe. If you run a fun day event and would like us to attend, please get in touch via the contact page.
We also fund raise by holding events/shows at Townsend Community Centre using the old school hall. Our funds come from ticket entrance and raffles. As a charity we rely on your generosity and every donation, however small, is gratefully received. You can donate using the 'donate button' on our homepage whether a £1 or £10, it all helps provide a valuable resource to the community.
We don't just fund raise for ourselves, last year we raised £200 for Poole Rheumatology Trust, helping children as young as 2 years crippled with arthritic conditions.
