Talent
The Community Arts & Music Project started after the closure of Townsend Primary School in 2008. At the beginning of September of what would have been the new 'back to school' term volunteers put on a talent show with a difference. Over a period of 13 weeks volunteers coached the children and young people in their performances every Wednesday evening. In December 2008 we held 3 shows to showcase their hard work and although every show sold out the biggest surprise was seeing the children's improved confidence and self esteem shine through, and so TCAMP was born.
Townsend's Got Talent 2012
Now in it's 4th year, Townsend's Got Talent has become a show to showcase the talent of children and young people across Bournemouth. The competition is open to children and young people aged 5-16 yrs. More information later in the year.
